This new workshop facility at rijo42 HQ has been christened The LAB, due to the nature of its purpose. The overhaul of the workshop included a large extension, which has been fitted with five new well-equipped workstations, providing our highly skilled Service Team with everything they need to set up machines quickly and efficiently. And, when preparing in the region of 250 machines for installation every month, organisation, precision and productivity are key factors in ensuring efficient rijo42 installations up and down the country.

The central bench in the workshop is used for top of the range computer equipment, from which certain models of our machines can be serviced remotely; meaning machines all over the country can be diagnosed and adjusted centrally from rijo42 HQ. New Commercial Coffee Machine Demonstration Kits
Our Business Development Consultants were very happy at the beginning of this month when we presented them with their brand new shiny demonstration kits. We have demonstrated with the rijo42 Brasil for quite some time, and it’s served us incredibly well, however we have now upgraded to the Brasil RSD as our standard demo model.  The RSD is still part of the Brasil family, and as such, provides the same exceptional performance and reliability, with the added benefit of a multimedia screen, or as we call it, Rijo Smart Display (RSD).

This high gloss commercial coffee machine has an integrated TFT screen to which videos and images can be uploaded by USB device. This RSD is an outstanding marketing tool, a great way for conveying company messages and promotions to a captive audience whilst drinks are dispensed. With the capacity for up to 8-14 videos and combination of still images, this machine is an advertisers dream. rijo42 Commercial Coffee Machines At Prince Harry’s Invictus Games

Earlier this month Prince Harry announced that he was to launch an event called the Invictus Games later this year. Following the news that Britain’s involvement in the war in Afghanistan is due to cease, Prince Harry was instrumental in bringing an event he’d seen in Colorado named the Warrior Games, over to the UK.

The Invictus Games is a Paralympic-style Championship for injured servicemen and women and will be held at Olympic Park from September 10-14. The Invictus Games are being organised not to support the conflict in Afghanistan nor to support the forces themselves, but to support the strong, inspirational servicemen and women and the journey they’ve been on. The games presents a wonderful opportunity to recognise the commitment of those who have served our country and pay tribute to those wounded or injured.

Organisers have said that so far there are over 300 sick, injured and wounded service men and women from thirteen different nations set to take part in eight adaptive sports at the home London 2012 Olympics later this year. There are both serving and veteran members of the forces due to compete and programme will include archery, indoor rowing, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair basketball, road cycling, sitting volleyball, swimming, driving challenges and athletics.

Events are being held at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 10-14 September 2014 and Prince Harry is urging Britain to show our support. All track and field events for the Invictus Games will be taking place at rijo42 customer, Lee Valley Athletics Centre. In September 2013, we appeared on BBC2’s, Hairy Bikers Everyday Gourmets, which featured our customer Roy Gigg Butchers in Maidenhead. In February 2014, we were part of a Sky Sports News feature, highlighting recent investment at Salford Red Devils Rugby Club and the new Team Room at the AJ Bell Stadium, where our Brasil commercial coffee machine is located.

More recently, our commercial coffee machines appeared on Tonight – Man Versus Machine on ITV1. The programme aired on the 24th April and featured rijo42 customer Xamax Clothing, highlighting how their recent investment in new machines is groundbreaking for both the company and the clothing industry as a whole. rijo42 Commercial Coffee Machines At Bolton Hospice’s Midnight Memory Walk

rijo42 has supported Bolton Hospice through donations and fundraising events for many years. We have both a professional and personal connection with the Hospice and therefore are only too happy to assist this wonderful charity with their fundraising endeavours.

We are pleased to announce that rijo42 will be attending Bolton Hospice’s Midnight Memories Walk on Saturday 21^st June 2014. This fundraising event is one of the biggest for the charity and will feature over 1700 sponsored walkers. The walk will commence at the stroke of Midnight from Bolton’s Town Hall Square and loop 8 miles around Bolton to return back to the Town Hall, passing the Hospice along the way.

The evening will begin from 9pm in the Town Hall Square with live bands, dancing and entertainment. There will also be a pre-walk warm up work out. rijo42 will be there from 8pm serving freshly ground coffee from our Brasil commercial coffee machines. Walkers can come along and grab an espresso, latte or cappuccino before embarking on the 8-mile walk. All proceeds raised from coffee sales on the evening will be donated to Bolton Hospice.
